you interested in becoming the next Miss Berea Area/Miss Richmond
Area?
Here is some information on how
you can
become a part of the Miss America system:
As a Kentucky high school senior or a college/university student,
you meet the first qualification. You must be a 17 year old high
school senior by the date of the preliminary competition and no
older than 24 by September 30th of the year in which you would
compete in the Miss America national finals.
The "Miss Berea Area/Miss Richmond Scholarship Pageant" is an
official Miss Kentucky Scholarship Pageant Preliminary. If you win
these two competitions you are afforded the opportunity to compete
in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City. What are the rewards
of competing in this program? For two years the Kentucky
organization was #1 with nationwide college and university tuition
scholarships. This past year over $24,000,000.00 was awarded to
women on the local, state and national levels. The Miss America
Scholarship organization is the largest non-profit scholarship
organization for women in the world. The Miss Berea Area/Miss
Richmond Organization will award numerous scholarship awards to this
year's winner and runners-up.
